Senior Full-Stack Engineer

About the role
We are hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our central platform team. You will build the tools and services that power Scorp Group's portfolio companies — from internal dashboards to customer-facing products.
This is a high-impact role on a small, senior team. You will own problems end-to-end and work directly with company operators to ship fast.
What you will do
- Build and maintain full-stack web applications using Next.js, TypeScript, and Postgres.
- Design clean REST and RPC APIs consumed by internal teams and partner integrations.
- Contribute to infrastructure, CI/CD, and developer experience.
- Pair with designers and product leads to turn ideas into shipped features.
- Mentor junior engineers and raise the bar on code quality.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of full-stack web development experience.
- Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of relational databases (Postgres preferred).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Vercel, AWS, or similar).
- A product mindset — you care about what you ship, not just how you ship it.
Nice to have
- Experience with Supabase, Drizzle, or tRPC.
- Prior work at an early-stage startup or operator-led company.
- Contributions to open source.
Compensation
Competitive base salary, meaningful equity in Scorp Group, private healthcare, and a learning budget. Hybrid — London office 2 days/week, remote the rest.
